The project brief
We transformed a basic Shopify theme into a vibrant, visually engaging site for Sunrise Patisserie, infusing it with the bold, colorful style of Portugal. The playful, welcoming layout captures the brand's essence, combining elegance with fun to improve the customer experience.
Establishing strong foundations
Amphaus started the project with a comprehensive competitor analysis and UX research as well as brand exploration workshops to identify the audience and key user touch points. The insights learnt gave us a deeper understanding and formed the foundation of the project's wider scope.
The Shopify theme reskin
Initially, the ecommerce website was built using an off-the-shelf Shopify theme. While it included all the essential functionality, it lacked the visual appeal needed to captivate and engage visitors.
